Recently, I hired Ben to remodel my bathroom. Having never been through a renovation, I was a bit worried about the process. He guided me through each phase of the transformation, which was most reassuring. During the consultation phase, Ben spent time listening to my ideas and offered some useful suggestions. Within 24 hours, he provided me with a detailed estimate which accurately reflected our conversation. He was transparent about the costs so there were no surprises along the way. All of my questions, no matter how minor, were fully addressed. During the product selection process, Ben gave me practical advice about what to purchase (vanity, toilet, tub, faucets, tiles), but, he also offered tips on style and colour so that the finished project would be tasteful and modern. I was pleasantly surprised when Ben offered to pick-up and transport all of my purchases that same day. In short order, he started the project and worked diligently from start to finish, putting in long hours to ensure everything was ready for his electrician, plumber, and tiler. He is well-networked with solid tradesmen who are also very reliable. At the end of each day, Ben ensured the site was cleared of debris, leaving it neat and tidy; he was always respectful of the rest of my home and belongings. As the renovation progressed, each day I had many questions, which Ben did not hesitate to answer in a patient, informative manner. Any minor adjustments that had to be made were taken care of immediately, without reminders. Per other reviews, no micro-managing is necessary when working with Ben. He is extremely punctual and true to his word. In addition to being a conscientious contractor with great work ethics, Ben is a polite gentleman with a cheerful demeanour. Suffice to say, I recommend Ben without reservation and am planning on hiring him for many more projects in the future. Why wouldn't I? Everyone who sees my new bathroom is incredibly impressed at the transformation. The results are above and beyond my expectations.
