Above, Beyond, AND Under Budget
I would have been happy if Ryan and his crew went above and beyond. I would have been happy if they had delivered the service under budget. They managed to pull off BOTH of these things.
There were three complications associated with the move that were beyond their control; I found about two of them a few days prior, and I found about the third while we were moving from our prior house. I was quite upset about this as I don't like surprising people like this; they just rolled with it. It required them to do more than I asked for in the quote as a result. Not only did they do that, they STILL managed to finish everything ahead of schedule while showing me a couple of tricks along the way. I have absolutely no idea how they did it, but they did it.
I would highly advise keeping some extra money in your wallet on moving day and tipping them for their service. When you get your stuff delivered, you'll see why. The amount you tip them will be well worth it in terms of what you save in gas, time, and stress.
