My fireplace kept shutting down with the Pilot off too. It turned out that the Pilot needed adjusting and increasing as it was not heating the sensor enough. Technician was very knowledgeable and did a great job of servicing, cleaning and adjusting. Very clean job with no mess at all. Highly recommend.
