Forestwood Tree Service

We had to have two trees removed – one about 50+ feet tall and very close to a neighbour's fence, the other only 20 feet, but close to our house. I got quotes from two services and they were nearly identical. I decided to go with Forestwood Tree Service because Mike seemed to listen better to my questions and to give more thoughtful answers.

Michelle in the office and Mike and his crew (Curtis, other Mike, and Zach) were all a pleasure to deal with and did a great job. They arrived when they said they would, worked methodically (and steadily), and took care to drop branches as gently as possible so as not to damage fences or buildings.

They were also careful to not let anything significant fall on our neighbours' properties, and cleaned up what little did get there. With the recent rains, there wasn't anything they could do to avoid muddying parts of our lawn – I see that as pretty much part of the cost of doing tree removals.

My wife adds that it was a pleasure to have a crew that got along so well with each other and did not fill the air with profanity as they talked and worked!

We would recommend Forestwood to anyone needing arborist services – my only complaint is that they are not available to do painting, plumbing, electrical, etc...
