My yard has a few trees that needed to pruning, including one large maple that someone needs to go up to inspect and remove dead wood.

Mike was super friendly. He came by to discuss the work that needed to be done and provided a quote. He also
answered any questions that I had.

On work day, Mike and his team arrived on time. We reviewed what needed to be pruned. The work was done carefully and safely. All of the members were knowledgeable and very professional. Mike and his team removed and shredded all of the debris. They left our yard and the side walk in a tidy state.

Communications with their office was also easy and responsive.

I highly recommend Forestwood Tree Service and will
hire them again for future projects.

Mike and his team were phenomenal to work with. During windstorm one of our of trees fell over and we had to reevaluate the number of trees we had in our yard. We were able to get an assessment next day, and the work scheduled within a few days. Mike and his team are punctual, organized and extremely respectful of their surroundings. They completed the work in such an efficient manner; if it weren’t for the missing trees we wouldn’t have noticed they’d been at our place! Would definitely recommend forestwood we’ll be using them for our future needs! A big thank you to the team!

We had to have two trees removed – one about 50+ feet tall and very close to a neighbour's fence, the other only 20 feet, but close to our house. I got quotes from two services and they were nearly identical. I decided to go with Forestwood Tree Service because Mike seemed to listen better to my questions and to give more thoughtful answers.

Michelle in the office and Mike and his crew (Curtis, other Mike, and Zach) were all a pleasure to deal with and did a great job. They arrived when they said they would, worked methodically (and steadily), and took care to drop branches as gently as possible so as not to damage fences or buildings.

They were also careful to not let anything significant fall on our neighbours' properties, and cleaned up what little did get there. With the recent rains, there wasn't anything they could do to avoid muddying parts of our lawn – I see that as pretty much part of the cost of doing tree removals.

My wife adds that it was a pleasure to have a crew that got along so well with each other and did not fill the air with profanity as they talked and worked!

We would recommend Forestwood to anyone needing arborist services – my only complaint is that they are not available to do painting, plumbing, electrical, etc...

We are very happy with the work Mike and his crew did for us. This is the second time we have had them do some work on our property. They were a pleasure to deal with as usual. They trimmed our trees very well and and cleaned up everything afterwards. The big maple tree we have looks fantastic after it got some shape and so do the other smaller trees they trimmed for us.

We have a large Sunburst Locus tree in our front yard. The tree had two large branches which were crossed and rubbing on each other. In addition one of the branches was encroaching on the front of our neighbour's house. We had Mike from Forestwood Tree Service come and review with us what could be done and give us an estimate. The tree would require significant trimming but Mike assured us that we would be pleased with the end result.

We decided to proceed with the work. Mike and his team did an excellent job. One limb was completely removed and the second limb had to be trimmed back. The tree was then pruned and cleaned of deadwood to ensure a balanced shape and appearance.They did an excellent job cleaning up the debris leaving the front yard the way they found it. One of our major concerns was that the tree would look significantly different from the street especially because we were removing limbs. We were very pleasantly surprised as to how good the tree looked from the front.

Mike and his team did an excellent job. He clearly explained to us the options that could be done thereby alleviating our concerns. Overall, Forestwood Tree Services were highly professional and cost competitive. We fully recommend Mike and his team for any work you might require on your property.

Mike and his crew did a very professional job in removing a 40 ft+ Golden Locust tree in our backyard without causing damage to the fences, etc. The arborist (also named Mike) was very skilled in how he lassoed the 4 tall thick branches and precisely cut notches so that crew members could pull each branch with its large spread onto my backyard for pruning, wood chipping, etc... Stump grinding and clean-up was top-notch as well. Very pleasant folks to deal with. Will recommend this company anytime!
