It's always a bit hard to believe when the reviews for a company are so uniformly positive. But having just had the same great experience with Tim and his crew as others have documented on Homestars, I can honestly say it's all true! Within minutes of requesting a quote form Oaks Home Services through Homestars, Tim had called to ask when it would be convenient for him to come by our property to provide a quote. He arrived promptly at our agreed time the next day and provided a quote on the spot. The quote was very fair and reasonable and we agreed to hire Oaks.

Tim estimated that his crew could begin work within one week and they arrived precisely a week later ready to work. The crew was usually 4 hard-working guys, sometimes augmented to 6. They worked extremely hard and efficiently, always polite and respectful of us and our neighbours. They expertly demolished and removed our very old fence and eliminated major weeds, weed trees and vines that had grown behind the fence. Both those tasks were done thoroughly and efficiently.

Tim regularly consulted with us to make sure we were happy with the job and to ask if there were any issues that we wanted to address. The new fence looks great and our property was left clean and free of any debris from the job. We are thrilled with the quality of the work and the speed with which it was accomplished, a mere two days from start to finish (obviously it helps when you have a crew of at least 4 very skilled and organized guys who start early in the morning and work until 7:30pm!).

Oaks Home Services did a phenomenal job on our property. They built a beautiful long fence, took out our old flagstone patio and put in a new larger patio, stepping stones, front walkway and curbing along the driveway. We interviewed 8 contractors. Tim was able to answer all our questions succinctly and confidently. We felt very comfortable with him. He explained in detail what they do and how. They arrived on the day they told us, arrived early and ready to work. They put in long days, were always ready to listen and to explain when asked. Cleaned up daily and at the end restored everything. The men were thoughtful, gracious and humble. They worked very well together and they were all professional, with a great eye for detail. We love the new everything!

Yurii and Tim were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were easy to contact and accommodating during the quoting phase, answering all our questions promptly. During the build phase, Yurii, Tim were consultative with us...confirming what we’d like to see before starting the build. Their team was very professional and respectful to our neighbors. The work was completed on time and on budget. The end product was amazing and everything we asked for. Looking forward to working with Yurii and Tim on our front landscaping in the near future. Had a great experience with Oaks. They just came and quickly did excellent job. Yuri, the owner, helped me decide on the materials and design, workers were very polite and considerate too. My project was fairly huge, I had my driveway interlocked, new porch with stone stairs, lots of natural landscaping work and stone work, backyard patio and the lawn. The whole process was smooth, no concerns, just a 10/10 job at the best price I could find

Oaks did a fantastic job on my backyard. Their team are very professional and hard working guys, they costructed an interlocked patio with a stonework around, as well as new fence all around the property. I could not be any happier with the result. Also would like to mention that the job site has always been cleaned at the end of the day without leaving any mess on my backyard. Recommend!

Tim and his crew were friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. We hired Oaks for a backyard landscaping job to level the ground, lay down some sod, a small pathway, and a mulch covered children's play area. He solicited what we wanted, provided multiple options at different price points, and got the job done exactly as requested faster than expected. After being let down by a previous contractor, Tim, Uri and team stepped up to the plate. I have never met a more hard working bunch of guys. Very impressed. Would not hesitate to hire them again. Job completed on time and on budget. ( Were hired to do curbs, stairs and pathway in stone and interlock) Superb work!

Great work by the guys - super solid concrete base with great care for level and cut of the stones. The fact that I required a curve meant a lot of manual cutting with natural stone but they did it up like champs. Little touches like thinking to drill through holes for drainage in the firepit. Personable owner with good work ethic.
