In June of 2020 with all of the heavy rains, a hidden problem with our home became a major issue. The large upper deck, we learned did not have flashing and proper attachment to our home, resulting in water leaking into the lower wall of our walkout. Needless to say we were stressed! I interviewed no less than 8 contractors and settled on AR Reno Experts Ltd. Al, owner, had an eye for detail and truly explored the nature of the problem. He was/is an effective communicator and explained quite clearly what needed to be done. A concise quote was put together for us which we accepted. In early August work began. Al and his team came every consecutive day to work on our project to completion - a quality that can be rare theses days. He also took time to explain the steps in the process and how he would address each issue. In short, his team pulled away a 36 foot deck from the house, removed the lower half of the wall, replaced the wall, redid the siding, improved the electrical setup and blue-skinned the critical areas along above, behind and below the deck, which was attached with flashing and sloping complete. Then Al and his team rebuilt the deck floor, moved the deck frame back and re-installed the rails/glass as well. It was a massive project. Al hired skilled tradespeople for each part of the project. Aside from being honest, open and a fine communicator, Al stands by his work. He truly wants to solve the repair/renovation challenges. Payment plans were flexible upon which we agreed and we trusted Al completely. At the end of it all, we were more than happy with the result and felt safe again in our home. Thank you Al!
