Ryan and the crew of Evergreen Tree Care recently pruned a huge White Oak tree in our backyard. They first prepared the affected yards by removing any furniture or ornaments. Up in the tree for several hours, they removed deadwood in a careful, methodical manner. Ryan consulted with me when a decision was called for.
They also pruned several fruit trees, and finished with an impeccable clean up. The crew is thoughtful, professional, and cheerful with a deep respect for the nature of trees!

There was a fairly thick branch from my front yard Norway Maple leaning heavily on the hydro line to my house. Additionally, there were adjacent branches that also needed to be removed to clear the line.

The capable crew at Evergreen removed all the branches quickly and expertly and did so at a very competitive price.

Contacted Evergreen to get an estimate for pruning a large limb (or two) off the neighbours tree that was on our side and threatening to come off on top of our garage, fence and play structure. The tree had been shedding larger and larger branches every winter, we needed to be proactive before real damage was done. Sean responded to my email within 1 business day and came out the same day to give us a price.

It was a good price for all the things I wanted addressed and he had availability to come the same day. We said yes and Sean and another guy returned about an hour later with their gear and got to work. After 2 hours the tree was pruned and within an hour of finishing the tree cutoffs were cleaned up and my backyard and driveway look amazing!

We were so pleased with Sean and all the folks at Evergreen, I will definitely be contacting them again for future tree work!

The team from Evergreen might well be called efficient, but that superlative alone would not do them justice to capture the entire package that this small company delivers when performing their arborist duties.

As we requested, Ryan and his two partners arrived at our Toronto residence on a mild January morning, contracted to remove 2 tall aging blue spruce trees from the front of our property. Though the trunks were well under the diameter required by city bylaws to require a permit, they were still about 30 or 40 feet in height, and in danger of falling over with the next storm. Using specialized climbing equipment including ropes, pulleys, tree crampons and chain saws, the trees were quickly and safely limbed and felled by the 3-man team. In all, the job took only about an hour to cut down the trees to ground level, grind all the wood to mulch, completely sweep up the area, and remove all debris. Evergreen will return in the spring to grind out the roots after they contact the city to map out all underground gas and water lines.

After reviewing 4 competing quotations for this project, we chose Ryan at Evergreen Tree Care because they ticked the all of the boxes including timeless, appropriate insurance coverage, comprehensive terms and conditions, attention to detail, and value for money.

A HUGE a ranch broke off our 100 year old Norway maple last week. It landed on top of 2 individual garages and pulverized one shed. It caused cables to come down and damages 2 cable poles to list unbalanced.

Mike and his team came in and dismantled one mangled shed and took this tree and all of its many branches off the 2 garages. Not one thing was damaged by their work, all debris was removed and the entire area was blown out and left pristine.

They were so very professional and polite and showed great regard and respect for the three properties affected by the fallen tree. We cant say enough about the work done and the speed it was done in.

I have used Evergreen Tree Care twice now - once to trim and prune a big Manitoba Maple that was knocking into rooftops, and once to remove a tall Tree of Heaven that was becoming unhealthy and potentially dangerous. I had the bad luck to want to start getting quotes just after the huge windstorm that damaged trees all over, and arborists were very backed up. I contacted several companies and shockingly few even bothered to respond. Evergreen was one of the ones that did - and did so promptly. Ryan came quickly to check out the trees, and had a quote for me within a day. It was also the best-priced quote I got.

The tree removal was going to need a permit, and Ryan took care of getting that handled, and we scheduled the work for mutually-convenient times.

The crew did a great job trimming the big Manitoba Maple, leaving it healthy and looking terrific. When they returned to remove the Tree of Heaven, I was just as happy. They were professional and careful, even while being forced to work in an awkward situation - small yard, hydro/utility wires, right up against a fence, and horrible narrow access between my house and the neighbors that meant they had to cut everything extra-small to get it out.

And, of course, everything was done for the estimated price.

I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend Evergreen to others, and will definitely use them again the next time I need any tree work done.
