Dale and his crew rebuilt our back deck and pool deck, and added an extension on the pool deck for a hot tub. We were very impressed by the following:
- use of 3D renderings to help us with the initial design of our project
- ability to reach Dale (phone/text/in person)
- communication skills...Dale was in constant contact with us and was very willing to answer any questions
- respect shown for us and our property
- quality of work/attention to detail
- problem solving to fix unexpected situations
- quality of materials (Trex composite decking with railings and lights)
The only things that could have been better were:
- timing of the project (it finished weeks later than expected...this was partly due to understandable reasons like delays in starting, bad weather, and some additional work that was required, but as the client, it was a little frustrating to see them leave our home at 3pm/not work on Fridays/take a week of vacation in the middle of our job when we were so behind schedule, even though they were up front about these things at the start of the job)
- the scale/spacing of our new hot tub deck did not match the 3D renderings from the design phase of the project (Dale did a great job of meeting with us to discuss our concerns and redesigning the deck to correct the issue, and he only charged us a small amount to help cover the materials cost for the changes)
Overall, we were very pleased with Align Decking and our new deck. I would definitely recommend them!
