Garage door spring broke during Christmas. Called ADR. (Service in Innisfil) spoke to Rhea who is very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure speaking to someone who answered the phone in a professional manner and actually knew the business and could help immediately.
This was an EMERGENCY call. Rhea indicated that a Technician can come out the next date, gave me an approximate cost, provided me with an expected arrival time and that the Technician will contact me about a half hour before he is expected. I appreciated her empowerment.
Lo and behold the said Technician, Denis, a really nice gentlemen and efficient, showed up as promised and replaced the spring on the garage door. A job well done.
Prior to calling ADR, I had called another Garage Door Dealer/Repair shop who advertised "Emergency Service 24/7". When called, the phone was answered with a "Hello", no company name mentioned. The person couldn't help and took a message. Received a call back from the owner(?) to say, no it's Christmas time can't come out. He came make an appointment but I'd have to wait four days. Asked him about the Emergency Service 24/7 adversited. He said I should try someone else. Glad if found ADR, what a world of difference.
ADR is now my go to Garage Door Repair company.
