I HAD AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH EMF CONSTRUCTION ON TWO OCCASIONS, NAMELY, THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW STONE VERANDA AND THE RECONSTRUCTION OF AN INTERLOCKING PATH TO THE BACKYARD. IN EACH CASE, I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE OWNER - HIS PROFESSIONALISM, HIS KNOWLEDGE, HIS WILLINGNESS TO WORK WITHIN MY BUDGET AND THE COMPLETED JOB. WITH THE STONE VERANDA, HE PATIENTLY BROUGHT SAMPLES OF STONE TO MY HOME FOR ME TO SELECT ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION UNTIL I FINALLY FOUND THE PERFECT SAMPLE. HE ENSURED THAT THE STONE WAS PROPERLY INSTALLED AND SHOWED ME THAT THE ORIGINAL VERANDA WAS NOT PROPERLY DONE AS WATER FLOWED TOWARDS THE FOUNDATION. IN THE END, HE TESTED THE AREA BY SHOWING ME HOW THE WATER FLOWED AWAY FROM THE FOUNDATION. WITH THE INTERLOCKING BRICK GARDEN PATH, HE AND HIS EXPERIENCED TEAM WORKED HARD TO INSTALL IT, DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB WITH THE PATTERN AND FOLLOWED UP AFTER THE JOB TO ENSURE I WAS SATISFIED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY AND WORKMANSHIP - THE QUALITY OF WORK AND THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

Excellent and prompt communication, reasonable pricing and good quality workmanship. I'm picky, and this guy really came through. I'm very happy with the work I've seen so far. I would happily recommend this contractor to others.

Eddie delivered even more than he promised. Hard working team that is easy to communicate with to get resolutions. Eddie worked hard to meet our deadline . His job is outstanding and took pride in his work. We had few quotes but went with Eddie as he seems very trustworthy and price was resonable. We were glad we took Eddie to do the work as he was there with his team working extremely had to provide flawless work on a timely manner. Will recommend this company 100%.

We had a hard time searching for someone to redo our front concrete steps since we knew no one who had previously had this work done on their house. We weren't even sure what this job was called. Some companies simply put a coating on the porch, but EMF proposed actually cutting down some of the concrete so they could lay tile/slabs down (which seems like a more long-lasting solution).

We were a little apprehensive going with a company without a personal reference. But we needn't have worried. EMF did an outstanding job! From start to finish, we were impressed by their work. They started soon after we agreed to work together, they worked hard, were courteous and respectful, cleaned up after each day, and completed the job well within reasonable a time frame. The finished job exceeded our expectations and we simply love our new porch! Several of our neighbours subsequently asked for them for information or quotes so that's probably the best indicator of a job well done. Would highly recommend them!

Eddy and his team were great. Very professional, very friendly, great to work with. He gave me a straight up quote and broke down the work that needed to be done. He gave me great suggestions and tips. I added new concrete to my yard and the work is outstanding. He read my mind and did exactly what I wanted. That's rare these days.

I had a very good time when EMF Construction worked on the rebuilding of my front concrete porch.
My concrete porch was deteriorated and I could see the rusted steel rebars because the old concrete was ripped off. Instead of repairing it, I decided to replace it with a new one. Then I went on Home Stars and got two quotes. After the comparison in every aspect, I decided to choose EMF construction.
The reason I chose EMF due to the following reasons: First of all, Eddy and his team are friendly and easy-going. When I talked to them I felt we were friends. Secondly, they are professional. During the time they worked on the porch, I found they are not new to the concrete work. They are very professional and very good at concrete work. Finally, when unexpected things happened, they don't shortcut and always solve the problem in a professional way.
In conclusion, if I have some concrete work, I will definitely ask him again.
