After meeting with five contractors, we decided on The Wall Doctor.
Our first contractor backed out of the project, and it turned out
to be a blessing in disguise. The condo was in a building
from the 1950's. It needed a lot of care and attention to detail.
Many wounds on the surfaces, cracks from floor to ceiling
halfway across the room, peeling paint, and other inconsistencies, presented a challenging assignment. Daniel and his team arrived
on day one and every stage of the project was handled with patience, care and attention to detail. The tradesmen took great pride in how
they approached the job. The removal of an area of the ceiling previously caused by water damage created a seamless surface , and was replaced with new drywall. I was reassured of the structural soundness of the ceiling although another contractor told me it could collapse on my head
at any time.
Honesty, integrity, excellent communication, punctuality and a realistic timeline to complete the work. All of the above added to my peace of
mind, and the final result was a " work of heart ". It felt like a "rebirth."
I couldn't imagine how those weatherbeaten surfaces could be given new life. I would confidently recommend Daniel and his
team in the future. Much gratitude and appreciation for
healing and restoring and transforming the space.

Wall Doctor did a fantastic job repairing a very difficult section of our main stairwell, caused by water damage. It was very easy/quick to book, and the work was done very fast and very well. They were helpful, thoughtful and overall it was an excellent experience.

Water damage crumbled plaster holding lathe. Wall paper came loose. They removed wall paper fixed and painted the wall.

Very pleased with the repair work completed. I needed to repair my bathroom ceiling, where a portion of the drywall fell out due to water damage. I found The Wall Doctor online and reached out to their team for a quote. They were very responsive with my emails and scheduled the repair for a few weeks later. The contractor came on time and completed the job within 2 days. Satisfied with the service and quality of work.

These guys were extremely professional, efficient, helpful and honest. Also a very reasonable price. They went above and beyond to fix our problem. Highly recommend.

Wall Doctor had a fairly large job to do in our hundred year old house. They tore down the old cracked plaster ceiling and some walls, then added new insulation and new drywall. Next they sanded and painted everything. We had to do it in 2 stages as we were doing our entire upstairs (3 rooms, washroom & hallway). In the process we realized we also had to redo our door frames. We were very pleased with everything. The guys were always very respectful and professional. They would show up every day at 8am and work until 4 or 5, even sometimes later. They tried to minimize mess with an enclosure and then would do a larger clean each week. The final bill was almost exactly the same as we had been quoted originally. In the end everything looks new, fresh, and nice and they even followed up after to see if any touch ups were needed.

We called The Wall Doctor for various issues and have been very pleased with all of the work completed. From our project manager, Chris, to the office assistant, Penelope, to the rest of the trades working in our house, they have been nothing but wonderful to deal with.
