We had our renovation completed and continue to be absolutely delighted by the workmanship on it by Dynamic Design & Construction. We met with a number of contractors/designers to obtain quotes, but were most impressed when we met Raouf. He was recommended to us by a friend who had also hired Dynamic DC for her remodeling project. She said she found Raouf to be an honest, capable craftsman who takes pride in the work he and his team does.

During our first meeting with Raouf, he listened to our requests regarding the space that required to be renovated and took time to design plans to meet our needs. In subsequent visits, he clearly outlined costs on our contract and laid out a payment schedule. He also provided references, to allow us to speak with his previous clients before making our decision.

Our project was completed in 8 weeks, as promised. Raouf and his crew maintained a very clean work space and were very respectful of our living area and time. They used quality materials and consistently tried to make the design as practical and as space-efficient as possible. Raouf made himself available each day, in person or by phone. He was present at the worksite daily.

Raouf also takes on a limited numbers of projects at a time and if he does not like the way something looks or has been completed by the tradespeople, he will have work redone. Visitors to our home have been impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the added living space to our home.

Our 100 year old house needed some help to work in the 21st century. It had a side entrance on a mutual driveway and we wanted to make it a front entrance with a main floor powder room and modern kitchen. We hired an Architect and Dynamic Construction and were so glad that we had done this. While it took time and money, we never regretted our decision. The owner of Dynamic DC, Raouf was on site daily and supervised his people and the sub trades with whom he worked. He communicated with us when there were issues or problems. In the end, he created a house where we live comfortably in retirement. His transformation was so widely admired that subsequently, two of our neighbours used his company for their projects.

Raouf takes the lead on all aspects of the construction projects that his company Dynamic Design & Construction takes on. We have worked very well together -- as the architect on residential renovation projects that he was awarded in competition with other contractors, and as a client when he renovated our offices. There are many good attributes that make it easy for me to recommend Dynamic.

Raouf has integrity in the way he prepares a quotation for a project, asking questions when clarification is needed, paying attention to doing things the right way, and looking out for cost-effective solutions. He treats the client, their neighbours and his crew with respect, and maintains an organized job site. Raouf is involved on site, and accountable. On the simpler jobs he is committed to maintaining a tight budget, and on complex assignments he is resourceful and determined to achieve the excellence demanded by the design.

Whenever there has been any question about refining the work, or following up, my experience with Raouf is that he is committed fully to completing the contact and supporting the warranties. It isn't surprising that much of the work he takes on is word-of-mouth from great client recommendations.

I was very pleased with the work Dynamic Design did for me. The job entailed a total rebuild of a detached garage, transforming it into a beautiful modern space. It was a very technical job, as I live in Rosedale, so we had to conform to heritage guidelines preserving the historical look, while revamping the structure and modernizing the interior. Dynamic was recommended by my architect who had worked with them before, and was confident in their ability to handle the many structural and aesthetic issues that had to be addressed. The owner who was on site each day is very friendly and professional. Very easy to work with.
This project involved just about every trade and Dynamic did a great job keeping things on time and budget. The finished product looks fantastic and is a completely modern four season space.
