If you are looking for a great reliable locksmith I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING ON POINT LOCKSMITH. They were hired for a program and cut as the keys to our vehicle were lost. Came over, after about an hour determined they could not, in fact, program the key – but did cut it so we can enter the vehicle and charged us $100 for a cut. Failed to mention that he deactivated the original key in the process. To note, my husband was a tow truck driver and has an unlock kit so does not need a key to get into his vehicle. In any event, we found the original key the next day. The dealership advised that due to the key being deprogrammed by the “technician” it would have to be towed in to have the ignition replaced. When I advised the manager wlhat happened their response was “what do want us to do about it, it’s already been done” The manager advised he had no authority and said he would have the owner call – of course the owner never called. When we followed up and just requested our money back for the useless cut, they advised that was the offer that day and they would also not be returning our money. Should have checked reviews and BBB beforehand. Save yourself the hassle and find a knowledgeable locksmith who is capable to perform the jobs because this company was not – at least not with vehicles.
