Had the duct/vent for dryer checked. The vent goes straight up through the roof. Had a new dryer installed last year that does steam so was a bit concerned about damp lint getting stuck. Person who sold me the dryer recommended checking on duct/vent every year so called dryer vent wizard. No duct/vent issues were found but there was a problem with flexible duct from dryer to vent,. Technician repaired it. All done with no other no issues found inside the vent. I was shocked with their honesty, these guys are amazing. Yes, I gave a generous tip to the serviceman.
