Did not deliver what they agreed, did not have a new deck after nearly 2 yrs since signing contract
I signed a contract for a new deck nearly 2 years ago. A deck has still not been built. I kept getting excuse after excuse from this company, including, but not limited to: covid testing, firing his designer, being too busy, emergency-related trips. A deck permit hasn't even been applied for in the nearly 2 years since paying the deposit. I have a recorded call from the city that confirms this. This company refuses to return my deposit. The deposit is another issue. It was implied that my deposit of $1130 was toward the construction of the deck, as the deck construction was worded in the contract. $791 was for the permit and the design/drawing of the deck. This company claims I did not pay a deposit on the deck, which is also not true.
If you paid a company a deposit to build a deck and didn't have a deck after nearly 2 years, despite repeated attempts, you would be leaving the same review too. I do not recommend any dealings with this company. They should get zero stars.
