HARDWORX Stairs and Flooring

I am updating my review; Hardworx installed new floors and capped the stairs leading into the basement in July 2022. At first, we were happy with the work and floors until we started to hear squeaking noises stemming from the newly installed floors. Overall, the floors were squeaking in 7 areas for a total of 48.21 square feet.

I called the owner of Hardworx in November 2022 to let him know that the floor was squeaking in these 2 areas at that time and he came over to fix the issue. The stairway was fixed but the two other areas were still squeaking. I called him back to let him know of more squeaking and he proceeded to ignore my calls, texts and emails. I then called the designer that had referred me to him to let her know of the situation, and she proceeded to email him which resulted in him calling me back and apologizing. He promised that he would come back to fix the squeaking and after many months I still haven't heard from him. I called him once again and he has never returned my call.

I called a general contractor who referred me to a company that specializes in squeaking floors. I called them and they proceeded to fix all the squeaking within a matter of six hours. Based on the square footage of squeaking this resulted in a repair cost of $1412.50

The contractor gave me very good advice, wait to write a review only after 3 months after the job was done.

Hardworx owner, I know you will read my review, now we would like you to refund us that amount for a job not well done.
