I had a low deck with unwanted unpleasant things growing/nesting/reproducing under it. A once relaxing outdoor space became a battle ground with nature and I even hired a professional exterminator to try to deal with it. At the end of the summer, I had enough, so I resorted to the nuclear option: It was time to remove the deck and replace it with a patio.

I had several quotes from different places, including the poured concrete guys, and I ended up choosing Ray Services.

Ray Services worked with me and my wife to pick a stone and the pattern that would look nice, and also worked with us on the raised patio design which my wife really likes. Additionally, Ray Services replaced the walkway at the side of my house, and also to build a low wall around a drain that was in the back corner of my yard.

The price that I paid was exactly what was quoted to me, which was better than the quotes that the other companies gave me. They were very professional and completed the job with excellent quality. My wife was very happy, and when my wife is happy, I am happy!

Prior to hiring Ray Services, I visited my next door neighbour who spent $40,000 on their backyard patio and walkway a couple of years ago, and asked them who build that for them and what type of stone they used. I had this neighbour inspect my new patio once it was completed, and they also really liked the completed work.

The size of my raised patio is about 400 square feet, which was build exactly in the spot where the old low deck used to be.
