Jeremy came to our house with probably the best attitude anyone could ask for in a contractor. Prompt, positive, eager to get right into it. He assessed the work needed, explained the task clearly, addressed any concerns and went right to it. My wife and I work from home and he accomplished the task without any unnecessary or inconvenient interruptions. Weve since had him come by for more work, and will continue to do so in the future. I would highly recommend Jeremy for any electrical work.

Jeremy was amazing to work with from the start of the project he was personable, and prompt and very efficient while working. He kept the backyard clean after the work was complete each day. Jeremy was hired to install lights throughout our home and update our electrical outlets. The work done by Jeremy was safely and professionally done! Jeremy proved to be very knowledgeable and efficient in completing the work in a timely manner. Jeremy is also very pleasant, respectful and easy to work with. A new (to me) property had a large detached garage with a fused subpanel. Jeremy was responsive, made sure he understood the requirements, and quoted a good price for the project. He arrived promptly on the scheduled day, replaced the panel and cleaned up the work area. He was very patient about me watching him working and asking a bunch of questions. The same day he updated a 240 volt outlet for my wife's glass kiln -- i had given him the wrong spec for the fixture but he took it in stride and quickly procurred the correct item. He didn't leave until we had tested the kiln and made sure it was working properly.

The same day he gave us a quote for installing a whole house surge supressor but warned it would need to be installed outside of the main panel. After we gave him the go-ahead, he did additional research and found a solution that would fit in the panel. Once the part arrived, he installed it very quickly without cutting power to the house.

I am happy to recommend Jeremy for any electrical project. I will say it helps to be flexible on scheduling, as Jeremy tries to get to a job ASAP.
The day he installed the surge suppressor he was working another job in Markham that had a delay. He drove from Markham to Etobicoke just to do a quick install. Probably spent more time driving than doing the work.

Jeremy is very personable and an interesting person to talk to. If Pluto's cave was a real place and needed a lighting upgrade, Jeremy would be perfect for the job!

Very personable and efficient. Instead of just installing a timer switch Jeremy familiarized himself with the wiring and showed me that the AC works and that there was no need for a new switch, saving me money in the process.

I called Matinee Electric to set up an appointment Jeremy returned my call within 5 minutes. We set up the appointment for the next day he arrived promptly at the pre-set time.

I explained my needs Jeremy was pleasant to speak too and made some excellent recommendations. We setup the job the next day at 1:00pm as he had a prior job to finish up. Jeremy again arrived promptly on time.

He installed 6 soffits lights, 2 GFIs and replaced an old fluorescent light with a new LED light inside the garage.

He worked efficiently and all wiring was neatly installed and secured. He left the work site cleaner than it was by sweeping up the floor. He also re-positioned 2 interior plugs I add installed years before and tidied up my wiring to these plugs

Job took approximately 3 hours . He called a few days later to follow up if everything was okay.

As mentioned price included materials and labour. I would highly recommend Matinee Electric.
