Allen and the team at Orca were great. From the initial consultation and throughout the project communication was key. Allen is part of the team working on the renovation.

I had all new laminate flooring and underlayment installed throughout the townhouse: 2 bedrooms + kitchen/living and all landings. I also had approximately 40 stairs done in hardwood. Through the renovation I also decided to have the full place painted: all walls, ceilings, doors, baseboards etc.

The team was professional and completed the work on budget. There was slight delay that was due to a painter being under the weather. Totally understandable!

The only feedback I have is the cleanup good have been a bit more detailed BUT, my bathrooms are next in the reno so I didnt mind it not being perfect.

I would recommend and use Orca again. Ill be looking at Allen for my kitchen renovations as well.

I reached out to a few different vendors and Orca Flooring came out to be one of the cheaper options. I had a flood in my unit and I needed my floorboards replaced.

Allen did a site visit first to assess the cost and work. Since this was a condo, he asked I book an elevator in the morning and afternoon, and mentioned he can only work between 8am to 5pm. Right away I know he likes to do things by the book (doesn't cut corners)

He did forget to caulk some of the gaps but came the following day to fix it.

Overall I was very satisfied with their work and they will be my go to if i need new flooring done / replaced.

This company has professional, patient and very efficient staff that will guide you with your flooring and renovation project from floor selections, and work details through completion. They replaced 1000 square feet of hardwood flooring and two stories of stairs. The results are absolutely beautiful. Vivian was very responsive and they were very transparent with pricing and answered any questions I had. I would hire them for my next bathroom project.

I appreciated the efficient organization of this flooring company. They have an administrative assistant (Vivian) who will communicate with you promptly. All my emails were answered in less than 24 hours, and she even called me a few times to answer my detailed questions. Vivian sent me colour samples from digital files, as well as samples in natural light.

Allen, the contractor, is also a very wise individual. When he came to assess my property, he pointed out very specific details that other contractors failed to mention, which would have impacted our final results (such as curvature of the walls, transitioning from one room into the other, the width and height of our flooring options) and he helped guide us to pick the perfect floor type to match our goals.

Allen's team arrived promptly on the day of our repair (we experienced a flood so we needed the hardwood floors in our bedroom replaced). They finished the job in half the estimated time (4 hours instead of 8 hours), and they disposed of all the materials. Even after the project was done, I had some further questions which Allen called me to answer promptly. We're very pleased with Orca flooring!

Orca Flooring really went beyond our expectations. They replaced our 1500 sf of hardwood floor, 20 step stairs and whole house painting and they did a fantastic job. They are flexible and very professional. They listened to all my requests and made everything what I wanted it to be.
