I want to recommend Jim, he is very professional, serious and most importantly honest.

He removed the old wooden stairs, then built and installed new metal stairs at the back of the house. The job was done fast, and clean. And the new stairs are way better than I expected.

We are very happy with Jim's job and we look forward to working in our next project with him.

We needed to renovate our home in Etobicoke. Jim was amazing. He moved a few walls in the basement that made everything flow far better than we had even planned. He and his tradesmen were always professional and communicated really well.

Called on advice of a friend. Lead contractor was a great listener and provided solid, costed options (including some very creative thinking) to our needs. Work commenced on time and was finished only slightly later than anticipated, due to meticulous approach. Appreciated updates with on site and photo progress with explanations. When complications arose, they were dealt with in a transparent, efficient and effective manner. Seemed very aligned with us to obtain the optimal outcome.
Communication, disciplined approach and deep knowledge of trade stand out for me. Would not hesitate to recommend and will most certainly employ again. Great follow up to ensure we were happy with outcome.

We bought a custom built house that Jim had built. The quality of the materials and finishes were far better than any comparable houses at the time. You could tell that no corners were cut for profits or convenience.

We had a little bit of flooding from an ice dam one winter and we only wanted Jim to do the repairs and prevention afterwards because we trusted him to do the best job. He was meticulous and returned everything to original quality.

We are very happy with the work JB Contracting did in renovating the main bathroom in our home. The process started with a consultation so that Jim understood our wishes. He provided a detailed estimate for the work involved, then he directed us to his trade-only suppliers from whom we could select the bathroom fixtures and tiles of our choice. The worksite was left clean at the end of every day. The materials used were top notch, such as the Schluter line of products. We are very pleased with the final product. The attention to detail and regular communication about every step of the process was exceptional.

Jim and his team were very professional and worked efficiently to finish within a reasonable time frame. Very knowledgeable and detailed oriented from start to finish. Not the cheapest but not over the top expensive either. Friendly, tidy and they did a beautiful job on my kitchen.
