Bad quality, hard to deal with, and not honest
We did not have a good experience with UnitedTech on our our flooring installation. They were not honest and had very poor quality.
They were dishonest about the materials used (despite us agreeing in a contract), left gaps and exposed nails on floors, and a ton of other issues that are laughably bad but seemed like they just were in a hurry and didnt care about quality. For example: they cut a floorboard too short so there was a large gap from the floor to the wall. Instead of re-cutting a new board so its the right size, they just stuffed some paper behind the trim so it bulged out enough to cover the gap.
It was also stressful dealing with them. When we brought up a concern, we would have to argue back and forth to get them to address it.
They also tried to charge us for services that were already agreed upon in the contract price like garbage removal. Things promised in the consultation were not delivered or backtracked.
The main issue is they seem to use subcontractors and the main contact is hardly on the job site. So the subcontractors rush and dont care about quality.
We really regret using them. I highly do not recommend them. We were misled by reviews that look not real on this page.
