Ali was great - prompt, professional, fair pricing. He had to come back as the ice maker wasn't working, as we thought it would, so once again he was prompt on his return visit and fixed the problem right away.

I put in a request to home stairs. Within 5 minutes Ali called me on the phone. He was flexible with his timing as I wanted him to come the next day. He squeezed me into his busy day. He did arrive past the window we had set up, but he was in communication with me throughout the day regarding this. I appreciate it this. After a long day he arrived at my house in the evening and he worked for over an hour and a half to diagnose the problem with my freezer. He was friendly, clearing his communication, and clean in his workspace. Will use again.

My fridge stopped working and all the stuff in my freezer went bad. I went into instant stress and panic mode. My brother set me up with your company and within hours I had a call from Steel appliance. They were extremely professional. The next day Alex was out to look at my fridge. He found it was the fan motor in the freezer that had gone. He didn't have the part but assured me he would find it. A hour later he was back with the part and had it installed in 45 minutes. He moved the fridge back into the tight space it had been in and wiped the floor. This company was extremely professional to deal with. They followed up the next day to make sure I was satisfied!

Needed a high quality appliance repair pro quickly. Hired Ali to install the rubber gasket for my front load washer and I am glad I did! He came and did a great job -- took the time to explain me everything. A lot of companies charge $300+ for just a washer gasket install for 2 workers to remove the dryer on top of the washer and repair. Ali did everything by himself, including taking the dryer off the washer. He inspected for mold and made sure everything worked before he left. The job was only $255, in comparison to $300+ that other pros were charging.

He even made me some recommendations on how to maintain my washer better.

If you are on a tight budget but want a quality person for your appliance repairs, highly recommend him.

Ali was great and managed to "MacGyver" a knob on an older Kenmore Washing Machine. The part was no longer available through all the sources I researched.

Ali was excellent, offered a good price and fully guaranteed his work. He was polite and prompt. I would highly recommend his company.

Update: The provider updated me so fixing this review for fairness. He also came back to check if all is ok since he was in the area.

Previously: I asked for repair Thursday and Ali responded fast and gave the approximate price for labor and parts but scheduled to come Monday instead 4-6 PM. Monday when I asked his ETA, he told me 5:45-6. He came past 6:30 and took an hour to diagnose what should be a simple fix. Since I researched what could be wrong and also spoke to another repair guy, I expected to pay the lowest amount of his price range. I was charged the max of 300.00 of his quote. I hurt my back so could not confirm the repair that's needed. He returned the next day for a 1-3 schedule. By 3:10 I texted to find out if he is still coming. He said he will arrive by 5, he came at 6 PM and fixed the problem in 15 minutes (he was dealing with migraines hence being behind schedules). My husband told him that the price is too high, he reduced at 280.00 but for the inconvenience of arriving late 2x without a call, he agreed at 260.00.

My dryer is working fine now. I'd like to note that he also fixed the faulty dryer door with a new part as an extra good gesture for not being able to call ahead of time. I feel this is fair and a responsible effort so I have changed my review rating. My dryer is working fine now.

Oven was overheating. Ali was able to diagnose the problem fairly quickly and repaired it. Working very well now. He was very upfront with what was required and the associated cost. Very professional and thorough.

Ali was very prompt with his communication and scheduling the appointment. He let me know when he was going to be delayed in arriving. (Toronto is an hour away from Toronto, sometimes longer haha)

He diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part and scheduled the repair on the spot, and when he returned he was quick, efficient, friendly, and cleaned up the work area.
