Previously: I asked for repair Thursday and Ali responded fast and gave the approximate price for labor and parts but scheduled to come Monday instead 4-6 PM. Monday when I asked his ETA, he told me 5:45-6. He came past 6:30 and took an hour to diagnose what should be a simple fix. Since I researched what could be wrong and also spoke to another repair guy, I expected to pay the lowest amount of his price range. I was charged the max of 300.00 of his quote. I hurt my back so could not confirm the repair that's needed. He returned the next day for a 1-3 schedule. By 3:10 I texted to find out if he is still coming. He said he will arrive by 5, he came at 6 PM and fixed the problem in 15 minutes (he was dealing with migraines hence being behind schedules). My husband told him that the price is too high, he reduced at 280.00 but for the inconvenience of arriving late 2x without a call, he agreed at 260.00.
My dryer is working fine now. I'd like to note that he also fixed the faulty dryer door with a new part as an extra good gesture for not being able to call ahead of time. I feel this is fair and a responsible effort so I have changed my review rating. My dryer is working fine now.
