AS Construction

This is our second time working with AS Construction. We had an excellent experience working with Alfred the first time so we decided to call him again when we needed our bathroom floors redone and shower wall tiles re-grouted. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Alfred did a great job again, and he completed the work on time. He's honest and has an excellent work ethic, so working with him has been easy each time. Big thanks to Alfred and the AS Construction team!

We had a lot of stacked tiling done. Walls, window frames, corners, niches and floors. Amazing work. Great communication, asked preferences before moving forward, made really good suggestions and trusted those suggested throughout the process without any regret! Very detailed, very meticulous and cared about results!

I was looking for a tile job for my kitchen both for floor and backsplash and after receiving a few quotes, I have found AC on Homestars. The stellar reviews is what prompted me to reach out and I do not regret it. Alfred was very professional explaining everything in detail and the pricing .
The day we set for starting the job, despite the fact that one of Alfreds team members was in the hospital, Alfred showed up on time and started the removal of old flooring and backsplash himself. I was pleasantly surprised how quick he moved and keeping everything so clean. The next day he showed up with a helper who was very skilled. These guys worked so hard and they have finished the work in three days. They were very careful to keep the area clean and the attention to detail was something I have not seen from other contractors I have worked with. Alfred told me that all the materials he is using are high quality and explained why.

Alfred and his crew exceeded what I was expecting for a tiling job!!!
They showed up on time every day, sectioned off areas not being worked on, kept the work areas neat and tidy, very friendly, and they worked like a machine to do a perfect tiling job.

I could not thank them enough for doing such and amazing job to a more than difficult project, it looks awesome!! I was very worried that the subfloor was so bad it would have to be redone, but the team managed to keep all the tiles perfectly level.

They laid down just over 400 square feet of 24"x24" tiles in my laundry room, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and main entrance and the best part: was their ability to level it to the same height as the hardwood. Highly recommend using AS Construction for any project. Their price was also amazing compared to other quotes I had.

Based on previous Homestars reviews of this company, I called Alfred to provide me with a quote to replace the tiles in our foyer, kitchen and bathroom as part of a renovation project. He responded promptly to my request with a home visit and provided a very reasonable price quote and duration estimate. We scheduled a start time and he and his team showed up promptly from start to finish. Thankfully, there were no surprises to cause cost or time escalation, other than the estimation of the number of tiles needed (had to purchase some additional tiles). Overall, the quality of the workmanship was superb and the finished product looks excellent. We are very pleased with the professionalism, dependability and quality of work of Al and his team. I highly recommend them.
