Our house is old (main part built in the 1880s), with an addition added to the house in the late 1970s. At that time, the foundation had parging applied to it. Not surprisingly, we were facing a situation today where the parging was cracking and pulling away from the foundation in a number of places.
When I listed our job to Homestars (after hours), Jessy from OneStop Excavating replied right away, and arranged a site visit the next day. He carefully evaluated what needed to be done, and took measurements of all the areas that required parging. Within a few hours, he emailed me with a detailed estimate. I obtained an estimate from one other company, but was not impressed with their approach nor their quote and called Jessy to give him the go-ahead to proceed.
Jessy impressed me on a number of levels. I appreciated that he did not apply any high-pressure sales approach, and that he was very straightforward and clear in explaining what needed to be done and how he would do it. The work itself is excellent. His estimate was priced reasonably. He and his assistant were professional, polite and prompt. All in all, I am delighted with the work. I highly recommend Jessy and OneStop Excavating.
