After a terrible experience with my last contractor that left me frustrated and feeling taken advantage of, I was lucky to find Jarno. He told me he could rebuild my stairs for less than half of what my last contractor quoted me. He did it in one day and the quality is fantastic. He clearly knows what he's doing and does it well. So refreshing to find a contractor with integrity and good quality work. I highly recommend.

We renovated our basement in 2021. Callan Bros (Jarno) did all of the work except plumbing and electrical. Basement looks great overall. Costs were well controlled to quoted amounts. Jarno has a strong work ethic, and eager to do a professional job. He showed up for work every day he was expected and if there was any variation to work hours, cost or materials, he made sure we were made aware ahead of time. He is very friendly and personable. We would have Callahan back to do any other job we need done and would be happy to recommend him to others.

We had a leak in the dishwasher unit on the main floor which caused lot of water damage to the basement of the property. There was damage to the ceilings/ baseboard/ flooring/ door trims and drywall etc.

We called our trusted contractor Callan Brothers and they did the following:

- shut off the main water valve for the dishwasher to stop further damage
- remove all the affected wet drywall, door trims, baseboards etc and install new ceilings/ flooring/ door trims etc
- bought a new dishwasher and installed it for us
- all the drywall / ceilings etc were freshly painted
- basically he gave us brand new basement and his service was economical, fast and very clean

Our deck was no longer repairable or salvageable. Jarno did an excellent and punctual job removing and disposing of timbers, and
replacing the decking, railings and stairs. He is very skilled, his work is exact, he consults as appropriate, and he made excellent and creative suggestions regarding incorporation of planters, design of railings, etc.

I would recommend the company for small or large jobs, and for complex work.
