We needed to get the roof shingles installed on an addition to our house. The Canadian Roofing team got the job done quickly and at a good price. The install team did a great job ensuring the new shingles tied in with existing roofing. The team was courteous and made sure eveything was tidied afterwards. Highly recommended.

We replaced roof about 5 years ago with a 10-yr guarantee ... this company did not return our calls to fix repairs so we called Jason for help. He came out quickly and gave a relistic assessement and fixed within a short timeframe. Very pleased with his professionalism and honesty. He also offered up info on how to report the original company that did not return our calls. We recommend his.

Jason and his crew have now done two re-shingle jobs for my homes. He explained very clearly the job at hand, the cost spelled out and scheduled the job to be done when weather appropriate. When I got home the only thing I saw was a nice new roof as promised and no debris. I have recommended Canadian Roofing to others and they have also been very happy with the results. They may cost a few extra bucks, but it is a few extra bucks well spent.

Jason sent two crews to ensure the job was done quickly while the weather was holding. They had the roof stripped, repaired, and resurfaced in record time and did a great clean up job. It was amazing how cheerful the crews were considering they were on the roof in sub zero weather! We will definitely recommend this company to friends and we are having them back to do the gutters in the spring.

I had a small leaking flat roof -- Jason was very courteous in providing several options on how to fix/replace. After we decided, he mentioned he was quite busy and would come at his soonest opening to help me fix the leak. He managed to rejig a few things in his schedule and re-roofed the entire area promptly within a week. He also did a very professional job on the metal flashing, and warranted the work very nicely. All in all, a great knowledgable guy with courteous professional service and quality at a reasonable price. It's hard to find guys like that in Toronto.

A condition of selling our house on Sherwood Ave was to replace the main external downspout from our flat roof. Roughly 8' vertical run, burst and frozen into a growing icicle, and 50+ feet angling down. Canadian Roofing was recommended to us and Jason Hunter was able to visit and give us a prompt quote after we discussed options.
His crew came on a bitterly cold day, during the coldest week of winter '08-'09, and they efficiently replaced the entire run with larger diameter downspout: nicely routed and looking good.

Prior to the purchase of my new house (build c. 1926), my home inspection revealed the rather urgent need for replacement of the flat roof, which was bubbled and uneven. The inspector also noted that the chimney would likely need replacing before the roof was done, as it was also in terrible shape. After deciding to go ahead with the purchase, I solicited many roof estimates (I received 7 in all) from roofers recommended by friends, neighbours, and a couple whose flyers arrived at my door. Not all responded to my request for an estimate, some came to do the estimate without a ladder and so didn't climb up on the roof to have a look--which I think is absurd! Some estimates were quite low (lowest was $2500) while others were quite high ($11,000). Only three included an estimate for a new chimney. One of my neighbours is a structural engineer who also writes home inspection manuals, and he had been very satisfied with Canadian Roofing. When their representative, Jason, came over, he not only did a thorough inspection of the roof and chimney itself, but he also sat down and explained the entire process to me, also alerting me to possible 'surprises' that might arise (rotting wood, etc.). He was pleasant, personable, and--most important for me--somewhat flexible on his price. His wasn't the lowest estimate by far, but it also wasn't the highest, yet he took time to make sure I understood what was involved in the job. I booked them, and a few weeks later, when Jason said they would arrive, the crew worked quickly to build a new chimney. A few weeks after that, when the weather allowed, they did the roof. Polite, personable, efficient, these guys were great. No grunting, no hostility, explanations supplied when asked, they were in and out in a day and a half and the clean up was thorough, too. Finally, Jason didn't ask or expect to be paid until I was fully satisfied--which I am.

Crazy story... it was a two days before Christmas, very cold and I noticed my downspout had frozen up putting a huge amount of weight on my eavestrough. It was still very snowy but I knew I had to fix this fast. I called CRC at 8:30am, and even though most aluminum people had packed it in for the winter Jason and Bill send over a crew. They were there by 9:00am and finished by noon. It's since snowed and melted a few times and everything is AOK.

We purchases our home June 2007...our roof was leaking since June, 2008. Our roof was only four years old, however, we were not the original owners therefore it was not covered under the previous owners warranty. It was originally done by a "local" roofer and he was unable to fix it .. I called Jason and he spent a good hour and a half on the roof and in th attic trying to find the leak - and did not charge... he eventually found where the water was coming in and was able to fix it... thank you Jason and crew!!
