OUR STORY: Daniel’s journey is shaped by both heritage and passion. His grandfather founded a general contracting company in 1977 in Toronto, which ran until his passing in 2012. Inspired by his dedication to craftsmanship, his work with his grandfather, and by his mother’s love for their cultural heritage, Daniel pursued his own path completing two bachelor’s degrees in Classical Studies and Anthropology, followed by a master’s in Archaeology. During his studies, he gained hands-on experience as a horticulturalist at the Toronto Zoo and as a landscape technician at the University of Toronto Scarborough campus. Today, he balances his work at OAK&CROWN alongside his role as a professor at two colleges and as an ancient Greek archaeologist, bringing a unique blend of historical knowledge, scientific rigor, and practical expertise to every garden and landscape project.
