What basement waterproofing services are available in Markham?

Pros can waterproof basements from the interior, the exterior, or using a combination of techniques. The right service depends on whether you need full waterproofing or just touch-ups.

Here are some common basement waterproofing services in Markham:

  • Installation of interior drainage systems: a perimeter drain installed along the interior footing collects and redirects water to a sump pit for removal.
  • Sump pump installation and replacement: often handled by a plumber, a pump installed in the sump pit removes accumulated groundwater and directs it away from the foundation.
  • Exterior waterproofing: excavation around the foundation allows for membrane application and drainage board installation to block water at the source.
  • Crack injection: epoxy or polyurethane foam is injected directly into foundation cracks to seal them against water intrusion.

No matter your needs, it’s easy to find basement waterproofing pros near you who can help. Just post your project on HomeStars now, and available contractors in your area can reach out!

Does homeowner insurance cover basement waterproofing in Markham?
