Score one for The Home Improvement People! They just completed renovatiing our home's foyer, hall way, stair case and upper landing and Sheila and I are absolutely delighted. The work was done on time and on budget with no surprizes. But the most impressive thing was the high quality workmanship and the respectful and polite manner of the workmen. They are the kind of people you don't mind having in your home. Particular cudos go to Sharaz and Salim Nanji, who led the project. They were an absolute pleasure to have around. They are excellent communicators who take the time to explain things and answer all your questions.
Also a shout out to Santiago and his team of painters. Santiago tackled a particularly difficult wall remediation and did a wonderful job at restoring it to mint condition.
This is our second project with The Home Improvement People and we are glad we returned. Here is what we like about this company's business philosophy. The crew is not allowed to start work on another project before yours is done. As a result, there are no delays or no-shows. The contract is crystal clear and signed in advance so there is no confusion about responsibilities or costs. And once they make a deal, they stick to it. There are no financial surprizes. If you are tired of being jerked around by contractors who promise the world and deliver something less, consider using the Home Improvement People. We will definitely use them again next year as we tackle the living room, den and bed rooms.
