10/10

Back in 2010 we had Chris and his gang do our Roof, eaves, pillar and beam capping. I believe the company was in its infancy at the time and we were pleased with the suggestions and results. We had a slow leak in our roof before they came and it continued after they left, so I did not feel it was the roof. However, in anticipation of selling I contacted them again to assess it and get it fixed and they scolded me for not contacting them earlier. They came immediately and did what they hope is a permanent fix, at no charge. I would recommend them to anyone.

We hired RCC Waterproofing to fix a leak in our basement after getting several estimates (one in particular that was WAY overpriced). Their consultant Robert showed up on time and was very knowledgeable about the process and did not pressure us at all. A date for the work was set and they called the day before to say they would be there in the afternoon to begin and they were. I was impressed when they put down plywood to ensure the excavation process would not ruin our grass and they took the time to properly fix issues in our foundation. I must commend the TNT (Dynamite) crew on their work ethic and efficiency.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy... I made a huge mistake hiring this company for my kitchen remodel. Their lack of communication will have you constantly waiting for them wondering what is going on, including the date of the original install which will not happen as expected and they will not even call to explain. The ongoing errors in manufacturing and installation will have them re-visit for months after the initial install to a point when you don't even care any more. Add this to the lack of communication and the frustration is huge. Their references checked out ok , but I should have known there was a problem because it took them quite a while to find me some references. I now realize why. The cabinets are ok but the hassle is just not worth it.. Things to know: 1. I came to find out they are owned by a local home builder... did a search and found it is a company wide problem. 2. Payment - You will be expected to pay in full when the cabinets are "delivered", yes, before they are installed and before all the problems are resolved. They will not unload the truck without a cheque for the final payment.
