We had a very ugly 1970's stone surround/woodburning fireplace needing to be replaced. After a bit of shopping around, we found Daggs. The service was great, Leanne spent lots of time showing us different gas insert models, and explained in detail about the pro's and con's of each. The installation went off without a hitch and the customer service during and after was great. I would highly recommend others to go to Daggs.
It was time to replace old carpet and tile so we contacted Town and Country. The sales staff and front desk girl were very helpful. The installer for the hardwood was great...worked hard, had good advice and paid attention to every little detail. There were a few squeaks in the floor that he was determined to get rid of and didn't stop until he did. Now we have beautiful, quiet floors. Thank you!
Just before our new flooring was due to be installed we had 2 pinhole leaks in our laundry room. We called Van-Star Plumbing after hearing great reviews from a friend. Henry came right out, fixed the leaks, as awkward as the locations were, and gave some good preventative advice too. The new lino is installed and all is good again. It's so nice to now have a trustworthy and helpful plumber.
Replacement of 30 year old windows and doors.
Mountainside Renovations did an amazing job transforming our 1979 era basement to a beautiful contemporary space. So when we needed our windows and doors replaced we decided to get Mountainside to do the job. There were lots of windows and, as we expect in BC, it was pouring rain most of the time, but the crew were cheerful, hardworking and professional. They cleaned up all the bits and pieces and left us with beautiful Westeck windows and patio doors. A big thank you to everyone at Mountainside!
