In renovations on our 60-year-old home, we found that an exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom would be a nice addition. The brand new inline fan was installed in the attic and we were looking for the best way to exhaust it to the outside of the house. Frank from Toronto Roofing helped tremendously in offering us some options. We eventually went the route of exhausting directly through the roof. A hole was cut through the roof deck and a backdraft protected hood was installed. Can't say it was a big job, but neither myself no my girlfriend were going to go on to th roof! Our 16 year old 40 gallon hot water tank was at the end of its life when we purchased our home a few years ago. We called Button's to get a quote for a replacement. The total cost to remove the old rental unit and replace with a brand new John Wood 50 gallon water heater was $1100 including tax. A great deal conidering the comprehensive warranty and the fact we would no longer be paying rent on an aging and substandard heater. Thanks to Button's for their help! Time for a nice long hot shower!

Summer of 2009. Very hot week in July! Air conditioning decides to go on the fritz! In a pinch we did a search online for a local reapir company. Carey Heating and Air Conditioning was just up the road. A serviceperson came and looked at the unit. As it turns out, a 20-year-old capacitor had blown and needed replacement. When all was said and done, the bill was just under $300 and that was a small price to pay for a cool comfortable summer!

Wayne helped with a flooding problem in our basement in the spring of 2009. He and his team arrived promptly to do a drain scope and determined that a Mainline Backflow Preventer needed to be installed. Job was done quickly and cleanly and we got a rebate from the city of Toronto as well!!!!
