The ladies from Ecosparkle came fully prepared with their own equipment and cleaning supplies. They first asked me what specific jobs I wanted them to do and then immediately set to work. They completed the tasks I asked for and so much more, even cleaning the dreaded greasy range hood that Id forgotten to mention. They were cheerful and efficient and they did an amazing job for us. The house looks and smells great!

I needed blinds for my sunroom and had a couple of quotes in hand when I happened across the Empire Blinds shop. Alex was away but I was impressed by the friendly attention I received as a walk-in. Alex contacted me a few days later and then came over with one of the installers to take measurements and recommend some solutions before giving me a quote. The price was right, but what sold me was my interaction with him and his employees, their calm and assurance, and their genuine interest in me as a customer. There was never any pressure, and all my questions were answered thoughtfully. I was more than delighted with the result. The installers were polite, friendly, and diligent. The motorized blinds are good quality. They look great, and they run very smoothly. I can adjust them any way I want just what I needed. It was a pleasure to deal with all of the folks at Empire. Their work and product are first class and I highly recommend them.

Our driveway was old and very badly damaged but we were hesitant to get it paved, dreading what we thought would be an expensive hassle. I looked into what was involved and what the price range would be and continued to procrastinate. When we finally decided to go for it, we found ourselves fortunate to have chosen NovaPave. I hired Nick's to clean my exterior windows. I have done it myself for years but it was a struggle because not all my windows are easy to access and, over time, the water spots were impossible for me to remove regardless of what I tried. The appointment was easy to set up and the young man who did the work was polite and efficient. He went the extra mile on one window that was particularly stained. It now sparkles along with the rest. I'm very pleased and would recommend this service to anyone.

There are a few good reasons why Craig Talenko and the crew at CB Tree are so busy – excellent work ethic and results, and good pricing. Craig and his team just completed an impressive job of pruning 3 large maple trees in my back yard. The largest, a silver maple, grows disturbingly close to the house and looms over both our own roof and our neighbour’s. The limbs of this tree were left badly bowed by the ice storm in Dec 2013. On windy days, these limbs would contact both roofs, leaving debris and knocking against the neighbour’s chimney. The combined canopy of the 3 trees was also affecting the overall health of the lawn and garden. Craig discussed with us what we would like done and made recommendations that would ensure the continued health of these trees while minimizing the threat of large branches breaking off. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. Once we agreed on everything, the crew immediately set to work. It was a marvel to watch how professionally they managed the process of removing the largest of limbs dangling over the roof. Not for the faint of heart to watch, but not a shingle was damaged. They also cut the wood into fire logs, which they stacked neatly for us to use. After the last branch was chipped, the crew meticulously cleaned up the yard and driveway too. Our 3 maples look trim and solid now, with lots of space for the wind to pass through without threat, and the yard feels much bigger now with the enhanced exposure to the sky and sun. I really can’t wait for spring now to see everything come into leaf.
