Amazing, awesome, outstanding, reliable, courteous, hardworking and HONEST!!!!!! These are some of the great words that describe The Cutting Edge Roofing. In the summer of 2015, my wife and I were looking to replace our 20 year original roof. Like most people, I asked friends and family for any referrals and got one or two. I then decide to use the Homestars and check the reviews of people who have has their roofs replaced recently. I found a lot of companies and after reviewing my choices, I picked 6-7 roofers to get estimates.First, from the 6-7 roofers, only 5 returned my call and one company would not come unless I let him in to go into my attic and see the condition of the insulation or wood. No other roofer requested that. Some estimates were extremely high and some were extremely low which worried and scared my wife and I. We were knew to this and we had a current budget to spend and we wanted to make sure that the money was spent properly. Because of the scary experience we decide to wait till Fall. Fall came around and the roof was getting worse and would not last during the winter months. After doing our research and getting a few more estimates , we came across The Cutting Edge Roofing. What a pleasure to talk too. They were so courteous and very home friendly on the phone. Dealing with the owners wife, Tracie-Marie at first, she explained everything about the company( family business past down from generation to generation), product they use and their services, very knowledgeable and polite. She was amazing and it was a great start to a business relationship. So we asked for an estimate. Within 2-3 days, the owner, Robert himself came to the house, climb onto my roof with our permission and took @15 pictures of our roof to show us how bad it was and what he recommends. He also provided me with brochures and details of what will be done, different products that we can use and warranty time frame with all the products. It was very professionally done and explained, true honestly was felt. After reviewing all the estimates we had, we decide to pick the The Cutting Edge roofing and we are so grateful and pleased that we did make that choice. Two weeks later, the roofers came to the house. It was amazing to see the crew and the owner himself was there to help with the project. It is very hard to find companies where the owner is involved with the crew and their work. Robert Landry takes deep pride in his work and provides quality work that shows in the end result with craftsmanship. My wife and I are truly thankful for the amazing work that Robert and his crews did. They pride and craftsmanship has made our house stand out from our neighbors and people stop and ask about our roof. We would like to thank Robert, the owner, Tracie-Marie, his wife and the crew, Bill, Johnny, Tyler, Jim and Daniel. Also thank you to the crew for installing the eavestroughs and the siding above the garage on the small window. Amazing job done from the beginning on the phone till the end when all the cleaning was done. Robert even offered to come back and re-clean anything that was missed- not too many companies do that. I would highly recommend The Cutting Edge roofing to any friends and family . Thank you again and we wish you continued success in your business. Two years ago, we chose Elite Design Concrete to do a very large portion of our home in stamped concrete. We were extremely pleased and happy with their amazing work and dedication to exquisite quality of work and professionalism. Today, we needed to complete the final area of our home in stamped concrete(deck-patio) and our first and only choice was Elite Design Concrete. They were outstanding again!! They were able to match the colour and all the groves of the previous stamped concrete design. Both times they met our expectations and went above and beyond with their customer service. They are truly a professional company that takes pride in their work and their customers needs. We wish that there would be more companies and businesses like Elite. We would recommend Elite Design Concrete to anyone who is looking for concrete work from a professional company with outstanding customer service. Dear reader, I am writing this review to warn you as a customer to do your research before hiring this company. I would not recommend this company to anyone after what I have experienced over the past year and still to this date my problems are not solved and never will be solved with this company. They gladly took my 6000.00 dollars but forgot what customer service is. They lack customer service skills and also having people who are knowledgeable for installing their products. My story is very long and very upsetting. It started August/September of 2014. They lack customer service. They installed porch columns first-they sent one person who never installed them before. Thank god I was home to help this kid because he knew nothing. As he installed the product, he scratched and damage the product that I paid for. I paid them and know I will need to deal with problems every year. Then they installed two gates and two side panels. OMG!! They came on a day that I was going to work and they installed these gates terrible. They were crocked with gaps every where and nothing lined up. This was in October and during the winter, I could not even open the gates. They were installed poorly. In February, the gates fell off the wall and were damaged. I called and sent pictures. After constantly reaching the company, Blair, project manager came to see for himself. He was stunned to see what poor craftsmanship was done. He told me that it would be fixed and he explained how it would be done but he did not mention anything about the panels and gates that are now damaged and scratched if he was going to replace them or even give me some money back. Well the came and fix the gates again when I was not home and OMG it is worse than the first time. More damage to the gates , more paint damage and scratches, the list is too long. I tired again to contact the company with emails and sent pictures to show what they did and nothing was done. I tried on last time on June 1,2015 to make contact and I was told that there is new management and they do not know where anything can be done but she will find out and let me know. I have heard nothing since and I am tired and upset not to call any more. I lost a lot
