I have contacted more than 10 companies from Homestars with high ratings and decided to go with New Look Windows and Doors. They were professional from the onset, scheduled a meeting for the estimates, showed up on time, provided the estimate on the spot and came back the next day with the installer to verify measurements. Although they were not the cheapest, their professionalism convince me to give them my business. The installation was completed yesterday and I couldn't have been more happy. I can finally vent my bedrooms and no longer have to worry that I cannot open my doors, due to the wood expanding in the winter. I highly recommende them, they are an awesome crew!

Quite a bit of delay between contract signing (mid May) and completion of work (beginning of September), but I am happy with the outcome. They are not taking on projects under $2500, but their work is pretty good.

Even though my house was brand new, I still wanted an expert opinion on my house. I got the wonderful guys from Carson Dunlop to come in for two inspections, one pre-drywall and one at house delivery. And surprise surprise, even though the city inspector passed the house with flying colours, it wasn't the same story when Carson Dunlop showed up. They did find issues with the electrical system as well as with one of the structure walls. None of those two problems would have been visible at the "pre-delivery inspection" that the builder does just before closing. Even the builder's superintendent was impressed with the knowledge and attention to detail that he saw. He later asked me for the Home Inspector's phone number so he can recommend it to somebody in his family. That meant a lot to me, to see him impressed, given that he is in the industry and should know everything there is to know about houses... I highly recommend Carson Dunlop for their punctuality, professionalism and knowledge.
