Two young men came just before 5 pm and finished their work in less than 45 min and charged: $299 for duct cleaning $150 for air conditioner coil cleaning $150 for furnace cleaning and tune up $89 for humidifier filter This was my first time having air duct cleaning done. I lived in condos and just recently moved into a townhouse. The previous owner had air duct cleaning done 2 years ago. He kept the house clean but I thought to clean the ducts. The work done was not worth $777. The men used the brush to clean the ducts. Now I see that that was unnecessary. They charged $150 to take a few minutes to clean the dust off my furnace. Next time, I will remove the covers and wipe the dust of the furnace myself. The invoice says - furnace tune up. I don't know what tune up they did. And they took another few minutes to clean the air conditioner. When the water started dripping down I asked why this was happening and the technician said 'it's normal'. And I wonder if the humidifier filter could have lasted longer had i cleaned it myself. Please shop around before you call these guys.
