I booked an appointment online for microwave repaid, and a tech was dispatched today. Shortly after arriving he said he was unable to remove the microwave from the wall, and blamed it on bad construction by the condo company, saying my cupboards would likely have to be removed to get the microwave out. This dispatch cost me $92 including tax. Obviously no work was done as he couldnt (or wouldnt as it was later found out) remove it from the wall. After he left, and being one of the least handy people in the world I gave it myself a go. Got the microwave out of the wall in less than 5 minutes. Called them back immediately and was told I would have to pay a second dispatch fee, plus a $256 diagnostic fee. I cut it off right there. Still, $92 to tell some drivel about bad construction when I was able to remove it myself 5 minutes later having no work or diagnostic done should be enough to warn anyone else. Absolute disgrace.
