Review has been a couple years in the making. Our front landing steps began to deteriorate and caused a leak into our cold room directly below. What began as a quote to fix the front steps soon became a full front renovation to our specifications since the price was right. Alans wife (Gabriela) provided prompt responses to our quote request, and provided answers to our questions via email from the very jump. After a brief in person meeting with Alan and his right hand man, we agreed on a design and price. Shortly after the crumbling side facing stairs were filled in and eventually relocated to be front facing, a fixed awning was then built with supporting custom wrapped pillars and custom/backordered railings due to the pandemic and closely matched shingles. The railings had to be partially installed initially due to availability, and Alan came by in the beginning of winter to finish the install regardless of the weather. There were a couple hiccups, but there will always be some snag or two in the construction world. What made the difference for us was Alan and his team communicated to us the challenges at hand and came to a resolution after a brief conversation with us that was safe, and durable but more also economical. Kudos to Alan for overcoming some material/design flaws and aiding in absorbing some of the additional cost of materials into the original quote and did not just hand us the bill. One idea eventually led to another and we requested an addition/quote to install some interlocking stones to create a pathway to run parallel to the driveway and perpendicular to the sidewalk. This was outsourced, and not originally done by Alans team because they were on another job site and we wanted things to move along accordingly. That team failed to meet my standards. When I approached Alan and informed him of the concerns I had, he came by the following day and fixed things up himself with one of his trusted employees. We would highly recommend them for any construction needs and look forward to using them for our future home enhancements.
