Our old furnace needed replacement this Fall and after getting many quotes we had a good presentation from Matt - though he took a long time at the house he was thorough and explained the products he was suggesting, as well as how we could switch from our aging air conditioner to a heat pump and get a good federal government rebate. He also offered a side-discharging heat pump that could fit under our deck, which had been difficult for us to find. The products qualify for a $7k rebate which makes the project very worthwhile. The removal and installation of both was done in a single day and the three-man team was great (though they did accidentally break our fiber optic Bell internet cable which was a hassle to get fixed...). So far, the equipment works well - we will have to see how it performs through the winter - and overall we are happy with the result and the company.

Ronald (Technician/Site Manager) and Kathy (Office Manager) at Toro are communicative, responsive and diligent people who know what they are doing and who provide excellent service. Scheduling roof work can be tricky with weather and despite delays they kept us up to date on the installation day and did a terrific job -- 2 crews to get the old roofing material off and the new ones on; excellent products for the roof; really good tidy up afterwards. They are honourable people who kept their quoted price stable despite the inflationary cost increases that occurred during the delays. I arranged this work to be done for my elderly mother and because of their prices and service I will be hiring them to do my own flat and sloped roof too.
