Varant replaced all of the flooring on the main floor of our 100 year old house. the old floor had been removed as part of our removation, leaving the original plank subfloor. Varant leveled and installed a new 3/4" plywood subfloor; screwed to the joists. No more squeeks! This allowed us to complete the drywall ceiling work before the finished floor was installed. Varant showed us samples of engineered hardwood and LVP. We choose the LVP and the Valiant crew installed it and the shoe mold in a day. I would highly recoment Varant and Valiant Flooring for any similar project.

Tim and the KNT crew of electricians were outstanding! They replaced all of the knob and tube and aluminum wiring in our 100 year old home. They were able to replace the wiring and add new switches and outlets by cutting a few small holes (never larger than an outlet box) in the plaster walls. Most of the time they just used the holes for the new outlet boxes and no access holes were needed. They patched the access holes These guys know what they are doing when it comes to replacing knob and tube wiring. They also wired our new kitchen. This house is now up to the current electrical code. I spoke to several electricians before engaging KNT. Most said it couldn't be done or they would have to remove the the plaster from the studs. Tim is extremely knowledgable and organized. I would highly recomment Tim and KNT for the replacement of knob and tube wiring in older homes.

Carlos came the next day to replace a 100 year old cast iron drain stack that was protruding into the kitchen. We needed the drain relocated quickly because the drywallers were coming the next day to install the ceiling. He also rerouted the toilet drain and added a missing vent connection. He was prompt, efficient and thorough. We would recomment him for any project.

Fadi was great to work with. He demolished the bathroom wall finishes and removed and replaced the bathtub. Then he waterproofed the walls and installed new wall tile, new glass shower doors and a new floor. He finished with new paint and caulking. When Fadi's plumber had some difficulties installing the new rain shower fitting he stayed late to make sure we would have the water back on before he left. We would highly recommend Fadi for any renovation project.

We needed a piano moved into storage quickly because our home was about to be renovated on Monday. James and his team came on Sunday morning and carefully moved out piano to our storage unit. They were punctual, polite and careful.

I hired Ryan based on positive reviews on Home Stars to gut the main floor of our 100 year old home in downtown Toronto. Ryan and his team came when promised and did a great job. He protected the new doors and windows and carefully removed the plaster ceilings and wall finishes as well as the kitchen cabinets and old hardwood flooring. They arranged for the disposal bins and cleaned up at the end of each day. I would recomment this company for any renovation project. Ryan and his crew are easy to work with and cooperative.
