David Small does breathtaking work all around our neighborhood so I was pessimistic about getting much attention as we are just at the planning phases of our renovation. Instead, the people we dealt with were welcoming, with a "no job is unimportant" attitude. The consultation was comparatively more informative that other design/build firms that we interviewed. We look forward to next steps in our renovation.

I am surprised no one has reviewed Envy Irrigation yet! I first used them about 10 years ago to install a reasonably tricky system that had to get water to a few pockets of gardens around an inground pool, to a strip of boulevard lawn, with 7 zones in total. Steve and his team were not only the most competitively priced option at the time but the most communicative and professional group that I interviewed. They also offer annual system opening and closing services which I took advantage - the services were always done right and I never felt gouged. Fast forward to today - I just moved into another home without a system and asked Envy to provide a quote, which they did in their usual polite, responsive and cost-competitive way. What amazed me was the terrible, awful and unprofessional responses I got from 3 other sprinkler companies that are currently rated 9.5 or more on Homestars! One firm didn't bother calling back. Another firm tried to get me to commit over the phone without even seeing my property - when he yielded and did an in-person visit, his estimate more than doubled! Third firm was responsive and came to see the property, but didn't bother to follow through with a quote. If the excuse for these companies is that they're too busy, then do you really want to deal with them? Not me. I found the experience very helpful in confirming for me that Envy is a great company to work with.

Philip and his team performed beyond expectations. From beginning to end, It's The Right Move proved to be right choice indeed. My situation involved moving from a 4,000sf 4-bdrm house filled with 11-years of accumulated stuff to a smaller 2,600sf 3-bdrm house with narrow halls and doorways. Expecting the move to be a challenge, I phoned a number of well-reviewed firms and Philip was the most responsive and polite of the bunch to return my call (another firm rated 9.8 on HS actually emailed me after losing the business to warn me about the problems I was going to face in not picking them!!). Philip personally came by and did a thorough review of my move, explained the process in detail, and was helpful with all my questions. On the 2-days of the move (one day for his team to help pack ... wonderfully done; the another to actually move), the team brought a fantastic attitude, didn't dent or scratch a thing, and performed a number of minor miracles in getting some of my heavy, bulky pieces exactly to the right place. I also had a number of surplus pieces of furniture and Philip was helpful in taking them at my request to two furniture banks that he helps free of charge. When it came time to settle the bill, I have to admit that I was bracing myself for some sort of extra charge for some of the above-and-beyond work that they had to do. Instead, the bill came in slightly below Philip's initial estimate - awesome! I don't plan on moving again anytime soon but when I do, I trust It's The Right Move will be movers. You will not go wrong by at least including Philip on your list of people to call when looking for a mover.
