We had a really horrible experience with another roofing company where he stretched a roofing job for 2 years before we finally had to take action and get another roofer. I wanted to find someone who had an excellent reputation so I looked to Homestars to get 3 separate quotes. John, who's the owner of the company, got back to me right away and discussed my situation with me and gave me some sound advice. Ultimately, we chose his company because John came across as a man of integrity. We trusted him to keep his word and do the job correctly. He's probably one of the most hard-working individuals I've had the pleasure of meeting yet he always has time to make you feel like your job is equally as importantly as any of his other ones he's working on. John came on Wednesday to assess the job and by Friday (2 days later), it was done. He was kind enough to squeeze the job in because he knew we wanted it done as soon as possible because our old roofer had partially started doing the roof and never finished. John sent a team of people led by Robert. They were punctual, efficient, polite, and cleaned up nicely after themselves after the end of each day. The roof looks fabulous! Even though John was not personally involved doing the job, he stopped by to ensure things were going well and he always followed up to let us know what was done and still needed to be done. He took the time to explain and answer all my questions patiently and honestly. Ultimately, he did stand by his word regarding the price, the time it would take to do the job, and the excellent customer service experience he provided. We're so happy that we decided to go with John and his company JMT. Thanks again to John, Robert and his crew of workers!

It's been a nightmare with this company. Bill, the owner, dragged out the job for 2 years and still hasn't completed the job for one reason or another. I think it's been bad timing on my part for hiring this company when it was on its last legs. Totally unsatisfied and frustrated. To boot, they're part of BBB. So now I need to find another roofer to finish up his partially started job. To clarify the cost: the job was quoted at $8400.00 and we gave him a $2500.00 deposit to get started. After contacting BBB, our resolution is that he's supposed to give us half ($1250.00) back when he picks up his unused supplies that were on my roof for 9 months. He accepted the job in March of 2011, but he didn't actually start the job until Nov. 2012 after much chasing. The pics shows how he left my roof incomplete for 9 months from Nov. 2012 (when he partially started the job) to July 31st 2013. He claims to charge $250.00 for writing any letters to clients too, when I requested a letter to terminate our association.
