Last week our old furnace started acting up and we decided to replace it with a new one before it stops working altogether. We got two quotes but we were not quite confident that we will be getting the most suitable furnace. So on Friday I called Visic Bros to see what they have to offer, and next morning Angelo Visic came to our house. After a brief inspection of our existing heating system Angelo explained what has to be done and gave us quotes for two different Lennox furnaces. He also confirmed that they can have the new furnace installed on Tuesday, and we decided to give them the job. We opted for Visic Bros primarily because it was obvious that Angelo was in the business for a long time and was taking great pride in the work his company does. The fact that their cost was slightly lower than the other quotes made it an even easier decision for us. As promised, on Tuesday morning Angelo’s son John and another technician showed up and started working. Due to the nature of the new high-efficiency furnace they had to put a new liner in the chimney, install new intake and exhaust pipes and make a new plenum. This required a fair bit of work on the roof, around the house and in the basement, but after they were done there was absolutely no mess in the house. The new furnace worked exactly as Angelo described it. He even came the next day to inspect the work done and at the same time gave us all the related paperwork. It was a pleasure dealing with all members of the Visic team and we would highly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of work done.
