An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
We recently had Novacon construction re-finish our basement due to a flood we had in late fall. We had the insurance companies contractors come out for a quote and they removed the damaged areas from the flooding. We then called Pavel to come an give us a quote as he was reffered to us from a family member. The quote he gave us was slightly less than the other contractor so we decided to give them the project. Once his crew started they started to discover a long list of problems that the previous contractor had made. He repaired these items such as lack of vapour barrier in 2 bedrooms, improper subfloor and framing installation, ducts were on wrong side of vapour barrier...to name a few. He took the time to explain these problems and solutions and he didnt even charge us for these things!!! We were very impressed with the crews professionalism and respect for our house. Thanks to the guys at Novacon you did a fantastic job and we will definately use you in the future!!

There were a lot of surprises that came up when we had a look at what the previous contractors had done. Fortunately its nothing we haven't come across before and only caused minor delays with the additional work. I hope you and your wife enjoy the new basement!!
