We had a kitchen update; everything except the cabinets. Since Qualico installed these cabinets 20 years ago, it’s a testament to their quality workmanship and my house cleaning abilities that they didn’t need replacing. Danny always recommends quality products and, if there are any issues, they are taken care of to the customers satisfaction even years later. The only thing I would change would be NOT tiling all the way to the floor BEHIND the stove where it’s not visible. That’s just a waste of money.

From our first contact we found Simplex to be professional yet friendly. We went with a sample of what we wanted and a granite slab was quickly located and it was EXACTLY what we wanted. This was in April 2017 and our kitchen renovation was slated for October. Unfortunately our contractor was unable to start the job until January 2018 yet Simplex held onto the granite for all those months. We are thrilled with the finished masterpiece! We went to our trusted contractor, Qualico, for a recommendation when we had a leak under our sink. We had been using a company in our area for over 25 years but were very disappointed in their repairman last fall so wanted a good alternative. Nick from Van Horne Plumbing was friendly, professional, recognized and fixed our problem immediately. Van Horne is now our "go-to" plumber and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We purchased a gorgeous stainless steel waterfall at the Toronto Home Show for our basement renovation in June 2007. In October 2015 the pump failed and so began our unfortunate interaction with Tropics North, a subdivision of Service Plus Aquatics Inc., in an attempt to obtain a replacement pump. After numerous emails I received an invoice for $146.90 (courier included) in December. I followed up January 13th to ensure the cheque had been received but had no response until I was advised on February 25th that the vendor had increased their rates and I needed to send a cheque for an additional $70. On March 9th I sent yet another email asking for an update on the pump delivery. On March 10th I was informed 1) that the pump had been shipped the previous week 2) they would follow up 3) it should be received within a couple of days, 4) that it had been received and they would ship it to us the next day. We waited in all day March 11th, no delivery. Finally, on March 15th the pump arrived and the courier slip clearly indicated that it had not been shipped out to us until March 14th on a rush, same day delivery. Once again they dropped the ball. Our waterfall is now in working order again but it took FIVE AND A HALF MONTHS, TWENTY-SEVEN emails and a lot of persistence on our part. I would NOT recommend dealing with Tropics North.

Rick was professional, didn't mind that it was a relatively small, straightforward job. Loved how prepared he was with a folder holding copies of all his certifications and a listing, complete with addresses and year of work, for us to check out in our area. Ashley and the entire crew were great to deal with. The job was completed to our total satisfaction and there was no mess for us to deal with. I admit thinking it was a lot of money for a small patio but it is gorgeous so we're glad we went with Hofstetter Landscaping and highly recommend them.

We were aware of DrainCom from various satisfied neighbours so called them when we had a minor basement flood. Everyone we have dealt with has been respectful and committed to excellent customer service. The quote was handled promptly and professionally, the crew hard working and the clean-up completed in a satisfactory manner. A positive experience.

We have been dealing with Qualico since 2001 when Danny renovated our kitchen and there began the start of an excellent business relationship that has spanned over 13 years. Over those years Qualico has remodelled our dining room, upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, repaired our chimney and performed tuckpointing, built our fence, waterproofed a basement wall, replaced our roof and front doors, added crown moulding and baseboard trim and installed aluminium railings to our front porch. The railings were replaced in 2003 and they still look so good we had a neighbour inquire about our contractor and Danny is now doing work on a regular basis for them. We are currently booked to have Qualico replace bedroom windows and repair cracked stucco ceilings. Qualico equals QUALITY and, although you may pay more, you will get expert workmanship, pride in the job and commitment to service. Highly recommended.
