My review is more to provide accolades to our LG repairman, rather than to rate LG appliances. Our dishwasher, two years old, had broken down four times since we moved into our new home. Our initial call went out to a local professional. We were charged for services and labour ($150), and our dishwasher broke down two weeks later. The second appointment with LG represented a charge of $90, plus parts/labour. Our repairman was awesome. Changed out the parts, all ran fine. A couple weeks later it broke down again. He returned, and performed all repairs (parts and labour) for free. When it broke down a third time, he returned and replaced all operational parts, essentially providing us with a brand new dishwasher...again for free. I want to provide our thanks to our local LG repairman for his patience and professionalism in repairing our dishwasher. You represent the company proud.

After posting my review below, I was pleased to receive a response from Milani, which unfortunately is rare in this day and age. Their thorough review and courteous response to our concerns were genuine and well thought out. I can say that the resolution will ensure I reach out to Milani in the future for any trades services I need. Despite our initial interaction with Milani, I can truly say that they are a caring organization that has genuine concern over their clients experience. Many thanks to Sukh for your time and consideration. It was very much appreciated. We had a minor leak under our kitchen sink so reached out to Milani through their website. The response was prompt with respect to setting up an appointment, however it wasn't until the plumber was on his way that they called to outline the cost. $189 just for the visit, regardless of any actual work to be performed. $90 per hour thereafter. The plumber arrived and literally hand tightened a joint to fix the problem. No materials, he was in and out within half an hour. The individual was pleasant and actually felt guilty as he knew the cost and the fact it was a fix that could have been performed by anyone with two hands and the ability to turn righty tighty. Unfortunate that this company fits the stereotype that those without a trades background always fear. An absolute rip off with respect to billing for literally no work performed. Lesson learned to call as many options as possible to ensure charges are reasonable and based on actual work/parts.
