I contacted Stephan from Imperial Roofs after observing their work at my neighbours house, and after hearing good things from my neighbour as well. Stephan was punctual for our job quote appointment and was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient with our roofing questions. He didnt try to up sell services or products and was very upfront regarding the range of shingle brands, their costs and their real or perceived benefits. Truthfully, we had already decided on a shingle brand, Certainteed, and knew there would be an extra cost associated with our choice. His firsthand knowledge and experience was impressive. Upon receiving our written quote, Stephan went through it in detail with us and produced a copy of the EXACT services quoted and his business (operating) license, insurance coverage, WSIB certificate, pledge to NOT SUBCONTRACT the job etc. Even the details of the job prep and cleanup are there, in writing, part of the quote! These are just some of the details. The day of the job, Stephan and his crew of five showed up on time, ready to work with all materials on hand. I'm not surprised by this after talking to Stephan, but relieved nonetheless. The crew and Stephan introduced themselves and set to work stripping the old shingles off. No radios blaring and everyone was very professional. It is my roof, but I share the neighbourhood... The crew on site were very open to questions and respectful and polite to us at all times, and make no mistake, they were here to work! Stephan provided lots of extra materials if needed-in case some plywood was rotten etc and there were extra shingles on hand. I think you probably know by now that I am VERY pleased with the job done as stated. Thank you Stephan, Mike, Andre and the others for our new IMPERIAL ROOF!
