I needed 2 appliances and a friend mentioned Canadian Appliance Source. It was a quick purchase with a fair price. Unfortunately everything fell off the rails from there. The dishwasher they delivered was broken and the company is unsympathetic and wipes their hands clean of everything and is unwilling to help. I advised them that due to safety concerns for one child at home we needed a functioning dishwasher but they didn't care. The process of being forced to email different departments with exchanges and replies occuring only every 24-36 hours is archaic and inefficient I even tried to solicit the help of upper management and they didn't even have the courtesy to reply I have purchased products from many retailers in my life including appliances and can say this has been the worst retail and customer service experience I have ever had. I am taking a financial loss in this experience so that I can rectify this

I posted a need for a job for tile and grout cleaning. I chose this company based on their response rate and supposed positive reviews for the very job I was sourcing. A gentleman called me and arranged to have someone come by for a price of $350. When the person they sent came they started saying how it it would cost more. I told them I was not interested. No hard feelings whatsoever. they spoke to the manager who booked the service and agreed to the price The end result is not very. I basically have to hire someone else to come back and do a proper job. They blamed the construction of the tile and the grouting. But I thought I was hiring someone to help clean that. Anyways, the person there wasn't a bad guy. I paid him in full (even extra with cash) and told him I wasn't pleased with the result and will call to express my concern. I called back the person who originally called me and all of a sudden he was just a call centre person and really has little to do with it. I reminded him the job that was posted and what we agreed to and that I was unhappy with the result. He said he'd get a manager to call me back to discuss but that never happened. I am just left needing to find someone else to help fix this. Lesson learned.

We recently changed our kitchen french doors (with lots of trim and panels) to a glass sliding door. We are very happy with the product and working with Amica and Mike (and installation team) was a complete pleasure. I hope i'm not in a position to need to change my windows in the near future but if and when I am I will definitely be calling them back.
