I truly wish I could give Fabio (aka Franko) a better review but I find I unfortunately cannot. We got many quotes and chose Fabio because he was so knowledgeable and extremely patient with us as he visited our home several times before we made our decision so that he could answer all of our questions and ease our concerns. He wasn't the cheapest but he wasnt the most expensive but we selected him because we felt we could trust him the most of all the guys we had met. He truly did an amazing job with restoring our pool. He refinished the lining of the concrete pool and replaced all the tile surround as well as reinstalled our coping and then painted the pool with an epoxy finish. The pool truly is gorgeous. Unfortunately, after 3 weeks the epoxy started chipping at the very bottom of the deep end where he has installed a significant amount of concrete to seal up the main drain (in our opinion and from our research we believe that the thick concrete had not fully cured and dried before it was painted causing the epoxy to seperate and lift. He came to see the problem and tried to tell us that something heavy must have dropped into the pool to cause the chip - the pool is 12 feel deep so something approximately 500 pounds would have had to fall in to cause that damage which would therefore be impossible to lift out of the pool. Anyways, as it was pool closing time he promised he would come back in the spring to repaint the patch which we were ok with. What we were disappointed with is that he said the warranty would not cover the cost to refill the pool (approximately $1000 in new water). So the reason for the pool rating is that despite all of my phone calls, emails and texts he has failed to return nor to even respond back to us. In my opinion warranty and the security of knowing that a company is going to stand behind their work is just as important as the quality of work that they perform, and regrettably and much to my heartache, Fabio doesn't stand behind his work. Once he has your money it seems that he is gone for good. Fabio, if you are reading this and are willing to come back to fix the pool and replace the water, I will gladly change this review to a full 10 with no bad feelings.

Hi Christina
As per my conversation with your husband i advised him not to balance the water chemistry himself but to call a professional. The result was damage to the surface area of your pool.In the future please call a professional to service your pool not google.

I am so sorry to say that I cannot recommend MSJ Movers as a company. However I do want to make it 100% clear that the moving guys themselves were top notch, but the company is 100% terrible. Having been burned before by unscrupulous movers I was extra careful this time. I arranged for a flat rate that was to include 4 movers and 2 - 26 foot trucks. On moving day only 3 guys showed up with 1 - 24 foot truck!!! Furthermore, the movers had no idea that a flat rate was agreed to (I had in in writing via email) and so when I asked the head mover to sign a piece of paper agreeing to it before they started moving stuff out of our house, he refused. After some unpleasant discussion and calls to dispatcher he finally agreed to sign it. But the worst part was that I called my contact at MSJ, Danielle Lee to tell what's happening, she quicky said she would call me back and hung up on me. To make matters worse, she then obviously turned off her cellphone because I never did receive a call back AND everytime I tried to call her, I got a voicemail greeting which would not allow me to leave messages. So. here we are with 25% less labour and 1 less truck. My husband ran out and rented a second truck and we continued on. With one less person the move took a lot longer and in the end we had to leave quite a bit behind AND we are out of pocket for the 2nd truck which was in the contract. It has been 3 days since the move and I have yet to hear back from Danielle Lee at MSJ Movers. Didn't even get an apology or explanation of what happened. In the end it got done with a lot of stress and extra labour on our part as my husband and I had to go back to the property and remove the remaining items via our own vehicles. That said, the 3 movers that were there were wonderful guys - very courteous and hard working. I do not recommend MSJ movers. Even though I thought I had protected myself by getting things in writing and working out a flat rate so there were no surprises, we still got burned. Response to Vendor's response: Sorry your response is completely untrue. We only lived in 3 bedrooms. One was an office which was on the list I provided you. The other was completely empty. There was only furniture for 3 bedrooms plus I provided you with a list of all the furniture that was to be moved. You did not live up to your contract period. Also we used OUR truck for the 2nd load. Your guys did not use your truck for both loads and did NOT make 2 trips. Get your facts straight. And you still did not respond or apologize for the fact that you hung up on me when I called you before the move started and then refused to answer the phone after you did not call me back like you promised. Yes we had a truck that we rented the day before for different purposes BUT WE PAID for the truck to keep it for the 2nd day when YOUR company did not live up to its promises by brining 2 trucks and 4 guys like the contract stated. In fact, we even moved out our patio furniture which was on the list on the night before which reduced your guys list on moving day. Your response and blatant untruths to make your customer look bad make YOU and YOUR company look even worse. The least you could have done was fess up and apologize. An apology would have been considered good customer service and practice. Stuff happens. But to try to discredit your customer with inaccuracies just proves your company to be the sham that it is.

Customer was Relocating a 5 Bedroom house and already had rented a truck before our crew arrived so she can reduce her cost to move her household items.. We promised customer 2 26ft trucks and 4 men for $1250.00 which is a really cheap rate based on what other companies usually charge.. We decided to send 3 men and 1 26ft truck figuring we will do 2 loads.. Our 3 men did 2 loads with our 26ft truck which is still equivalent to sending 2 trucks.. 5 Bedroom house we didn't scratch 1 item, we did 2 loads with 1 26ft truck for $1250.00 so I'm not sure how we scammed her.. A good company has good employees that's why she gave our guys tips at the end of the move.. We have a great customer base and lots of repeat clients.. I guess we can't keep everyone 100% happy..

Don't know what is up with these folks. Done business with them before and was more than satisfied. Ordered another tabletop.....then waited....and waited.....and called...and called....finally got ahold of someone and was told that the phone number didn't belong to Shells Glass....although the voice was the same! So don't know if these folks are still in or out of business of what the situation is. Very strange, very baffled....and in the end, got the job done by another company at the same price.

Stone Link stands behind their product and customer service is fantastic !!!!!!! Unfortunately we got a bad batch of patio stones. Within 2 years the colour washed off (hey, it happens). Stone Link came and confirmed that the stones were indeed defective and apologized profusely (I was expecting a good fight but it was completely unnecessary). They showed up with a huge crew of guys and within 2 days, they removed the old stones, and REINSTALLED the new stones - not just the defective ones, but the good ones also, so that the patio would have uniform colour. And we are talking about HUNDREDS of square feet of patio and pool surround !!!!! They install guys were incredibly polite and professional. And they cleaned up aftemselves!!! Best of all, Danny and his crew's re-installation job was better than the guys/company that originally installed it!!!!!! We built a new custom home and during the process dealt with a lot of companies and trades, some good but most were horrible.......all I can say is that StoneLink was one of the BEST companies that we had the pleasure of working with. StoneLink sells gorgeous product of exceptional quality AND they truly stand behind their product!!!!! When you are spending thousands of hard earned dollars, it is wonderful knowing that you have peace of mind of where you are spending your money. THANK YOU ROBERT AND DANNY!!! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!!! AND I WILL RECOMMEND YOU TO EVERYBODY WE KNOW !!!!!

Igor and his crew were extremely professional. They did the job promptly (sooner than expected) and they were extremely thorough and did a wonderful job. They also cleaned up after each day and finished the job quickly even working late into the night. We are so happy we hired New Canadian Plumbing for the job and would definately use them again and recommend them to others.
